About me

I am a landscape artist based on the Helford River in Cornwall. I paint outside, using gouache, and bring these to the studio to develop into larger acrylic and oil paintings. I studied at the Slade School of Art and moved to Cornwall in 2020 to become a full time artist.

The exhibition title is inspired by The Beatles' song "In my life" and will feature both landscape and abstract pieces that celebrate places I love.

This summer I was very excited to launch my latest series of paintings featuring St Mawes and Roseland available through the Waterside Gallery in St Mawes amanda@watersidegallery.co.uk. Next year this will be published as a book with further exhibitions planned. 

My second Helford sketchbook will also be published later this year and new paintings from this second book are now available here, and you can order my first book Helford Sketchbook #1 here (limited copies left).
