When I paint my spirit is let loose...
About me
I am a landscape artist based on the Helford River in Cornwall. I paint outside, using gouache, and bring these to the studio to develop into larger acrylic and oil paintings. I studied at the Slade School of Art and moved to Cornwall in 2020 to become a full time artist. More about my work can be found in the recent article "Finding sanctuary" in Drift Journal Issue 51, December 2025.
I will be at Form Falmouth Contemporary Art Fair (May 15 to 17, Princess Pavilion) and then at Cornwall Open Studios (Studio 105, 23 - 25 May and 29 - 31 May). Please get in touch if you aren't able to make these events in person but are interested in a painting.
My second Helford sketchbook will be published later this year and I will have the actual sketchbook with me at Form Falmouth.
New paintings from this second book are now available to reserve here, and you can order my first book Helford Sketchbook #1 here (limited copies left).
Below is a selection of available recent works, also check out the Paintings section to view more.
