This painting has a very captivating quality to it, I love the energy in the turquoise where it almost wraps around the trees. The Helford light and water has a luminous glow that creates a hypnotic effect when you glimpse the river through the trees. The painting was started with a yellow primed canvas and I left parts of it unpainted to create a sense of the morning dawn.
