Swimming in the mist

This abstract was inspired by the soft hazy tones one late August day when a thick mist descended over the Helford. Swimming in it was other wordly, almost like swimming in a cloud. Shapes were heavily obscured, boats moored off of Grebe were just shapes in the fog, and the headland was only just visible. Distant fields were a beautiful soft sage green with faint traces of Cornish hedges. This abstract is my way of capturing the softness and peace of that day.
