Electric blue, Port Navas

Glittering light, bouncing off every surface. A day “It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold, when it is summer in the light and winter in the shade” – Charles Dickens. A super low tide with all the planets aligned.

From My Helford Sketchbook collection. Painted in gouache, with an accompanying sketchbook page of text and photo. Framed in a white wood St Ives frame measuring 32 x 25.5cm.

This painting is currently in the Helford Artists exhibition at Trebah Garden until 2 November.
