Inspired by a page in my St Mawes sketchbook.
The water is a tropical blue, hues of turquoise flow over the sienna shallows. The light is dazzling and I feel immersed in the blues. Boats are picked out in this heavenly spot, St Anthony's headland looms up behind. Beneath the trees a magical strip of pure emerald green. It feels tropical and magical.
Framed in a white wood slab frame, overall size is 50.5 x 61cm.
