Sunbeams and showers, Scott's Quay

SOLD

This is a favourite view and walk, looking down from the fields over this beautiful Helford spot. The creek snakes away behind the trees to join the main river, and birds throng in the shallows, curlews, herons and redshanks. The light on this particular day was beautiful, one minute sun the next heavy showers which you could watching travelling up the creek, creating a soft haze of sunbeams.

Oil and cold wax on Arches Huile Paper, mounted on cradled board, framed in a white wood St Ives moat frame (8cm).
