Cold fresh air and morning skies. This is a favourite route along the Helford estuary, crossing muddy fields with well trodden paths. From up here you can see the two headlands north and south of the Helford River. This particular morning there were beautiful cloud formations turning from pink, and the promise of a sunny day with the deep blue sky above. I always feel good walking along here, the airiness of the space above the river clears the mind.
