Inspired by an original plein air painting done in gouache on a windy day on Grebe.
The high tide washed around my ankles, swirling with the steady breeze. Blinking into the sun, the trees above vibrated in the light, branches shaking joyously at the robust arrival of Autumn. I felt alive, charged, a surge of energy.
