Standing tall, Verbena and Miscanthus

Another canvas on the Abstract Flower theme. I get a real buzz seeing my flower paintings in situ. Here

with Verbena Bonariensis and Miscanthus. Beautiful colours and textures to work

with, especially in the early morning light. A gentle, calming painting, which

is how my early morning garden makes me feel. I love the height of these two

elegant plants which sway beautifully together in the wind.
